A small American city in California called Hollister. Many more motorcycle riders than anticipated attended a rally here in 1947, and some of them partied a little too hard. The Hollister riots were a series of incidents that occurred as things got a little out of hand. The outlaw biker stereotype was created that evening. That is the main focus of the brand-new, 100% cotton 13 and a Half Outlaw sweater. We produced the sweater in a sober black and gray color scheme with the words "Riot 1947" embroidered on the chest because all photographs of the Hollister riots were taken in black and white or various shades of gray.
