CYCLE ELECTRIC 12-V LO Generator with built-in electronic voltage regulator available in black color. This is a special Low Output version, that offers reduced charging voltage. It designed to be used for models with in-tank (horse shoe) batteries.

• Hot batteries have an increased chemical reaction and therefore draw a higher amperage which, in extreme situations, can cause overcharging and a boiling battery. The 926745 low amperage model will help prevent this.

Tech tip:

• Polarizing generator 
• Connect the 'F' terminal to ground while the motor is off, and briefly flash the 'A' wire with positive
• Remove ground from 'F' terminal
• If you have properly installed a working regulator it will turn on and ground the 'F' terminal in which case you will not need to use an external ground
• Caution! Do not flash the 'F' terminal. This will damage the regulator
• Do not connect the battery to the Field (F terminal) as this will polarize the generator backwards
• Generators in general don't forget their polarization so it is not necessary to polarize a generator from Cycle Electric Inc. unless it was connected to a battery backwards or inadvertently polarized backwards after it left the factory
• Only after a long time period generators can struggle to come up and polarization can be a good idea
