Application

It is necessary to distinguish between active and passive materials during the curing time.

Active materials generally mean metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). The active materials ensure rapid polymerization.

Passive materials such as high-alloy steel (stainless), zinc, aluminum or plastic only polymerize very slowly or with the help of an activator.
